The watermark on the museum exterior demonstrates a poem of the Naka-Boso region while characters are engraved by many punch press-like holes.

The museum is breathing. When the visitors stand in front of the tree, which looks like an up-side-down alveoli, they can exchange the gloomy mood (carbon dioxide) for a refreshed one (oxygen) with the artwork. Let’s work hard for tomorrow – Heigh-Ho!

An imaginative object comes from a billion light years away from galaxy. Visitors can enjoy the light and shade of the sun varying from time to time.

The tower is a demonstration model which houses a large water pump to draw water from the lake for irrigation. Visitors also can climb the tower to appreciate the stunning and dramatic scenery of Lake Takataki and the neighborhood.

With the theme of “the circle of life”, the artist tried to raise from the dead the creatures which lost their lives when the dam was built.
